Small and funny pink piglet in pen

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Facebook. I enjoy playing around on there and don't really consider it work, but if I'm not careful, it can be a huge time waster for me… worst of all, I'm goofing around and keep telling myself that “I'm working”.

Over the summer, my work schedule has been pretty lose and flexible but with school starting back up, it's time get more focused. Part of that is figuring out a social media strategy that will give me the best results for the least amount of time spent on sites like Facebook.

Reading a few different posts on how often to post left me a bit dazed and confused. There's so much contradicting information out there. Then this morning I had an epiphany while reading this post on the Social Examiner by Andrea Vahl. Things just clicked and it made a lof of sense. Here's a sort summary from the article.

What we found are some very interesting things about Facebook reach, posting frequency and what matters most to get the engagement you want.

In this article I’ll share what we tested and how you can find your own data and determine what works best for your own audience.

Take a little time today to read through it. It's a lengthy post but well worth the read. Let me know what you think about Facebook Posting Frequency and what's been working for you. How often do you post on average?
