Have you heard of eHow? eHow is a website where users post articles on “how” to do things – from baking a cake to repairing a computer. Contributors are paid based on the traffic to their “how-to” articles. From the eHow website:

“Every month, over 8 million people visit our site. We have more than 100,000 articles that are professionally written with clear and concise directions on how to do things. We also have a rapidly growing library of articles created by eHow's members.

We love sharing our knowledge with the world and have created a platform for you to share your knowledge with others. We invite you to become an eHow member, where you'll be able to comment on articles and interact with other members through a robust set of social networking tools. You can even write your own How To articles with our easy-to-use publishing tools that let you express your knowledge through text, images, and video.”

I started contributing articles over the summer, but then became caught up in several new projects and was not contributing regularly. Then, the other day, a check showed up! I had forgotten that I had signed up for the writer's compensation program. It wasn't a huge check, but, I hadn't been promoting my articles either. You can add links to your eHow articles on your blog, website, or email signature and create a nice stream of income. Here is one of my articles on eHow to give you an idea of how it looks:

How to Find Items to Sell on eBay at Garage Sales

I've started a list of future eHow articles and am working on uploading several a week. Think about what you know how to do and start posting some articles! You can add photos and videos and make your articles really interesting.
