Checklists are quite an easy way to create an opt in. People love to know exactly what they need to be doing and to be able to cross it off as they go. You can make a checklist in Word, or something similar, and then save it as a PDF. That way you don’t have to worry about compatibility of programs and it is easy to download or print. An introduction to a topic with a checklist or cheat sheet is a quick way to put an opt in gift together.
We looked in a previous doable at PLR (Private Label Rights). PLR is also a great option here. I recently purchased a PLR package on Instagram marketing. One of the main reasons I bought it was that it had a checklist and a mind map to help people know what to focus on. The whole package cost me $9, and that included a lot more than just the checklist. It would have taken me a lot longer than $9 worth of my time to put that together.
Here is an example of a few checklists that Tracy and Suzanne have put together. They are daily checklists for content creation and keyword research.
Here is a checklist that I provided in a program on using Google Hangouts. It is a Hangout on Air checklist. As you can see in all of these checklists, there isn't a lot of content to put together, especially when you are familiar with the topics you are talking about.
You could create a checklist for any number of things:
-
Social media checklist – what to do each day on any of the platforms.
-
Cheat Sheet – steps to take to gain more exposure for your blog.
-
Checklist for spring cleaning your house.
-
Checklist for planning a wedding or a party.
The options for checklists are practically endless.
What have you created or used checklists/cheat sheets for? Comment below – remember you gain extra entries in the contest for blog comments.
